Sydney Linux Users Group (SLUG)

SLUG provides excellent opportunities for social and professional networking, and is a great way to build your skills and learn about the world of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).

Membership is not compulsory. Membership fees allow us to fund meetings and other activities, but you do not need to be a member to attend any SLUG event. The prime benefit of membership is having your vote count at our Annual General Meeting, held during the March monthly meeting.

Individual Membership

SLUG membership is currently only $25 p.a., or $15 p.a. for students, unemployed people and healthcare card holders (does not include GST, as we are not required to pay it) and entitles you to free or ultra low cost entry to all SLUG activities. Voting rights under the SLUG Inc. articles of association are only granted to current financial members.

To join, simply attend any SLUG monthly meeting or SLUG sponsored event and provide your name and email address to the SLUG representative
